Finally I published Particle In A Box for Chrome Web Store! It's been a while since the final beta test so there is a lot of new stuff including new levels. You can download it from this link. Have fun!

GGJ 2013 Game, Feed The Boss

This is the game which i made during Global Game Jam 2013.

You are a ghost and fighting for the right to be right hand of The Dark Lord. First who brings enough enough hearts to The Dark Lord will earn right to be his right hand.

Controls are similar to Stairway To Earth, however instead of just stun the enemy with shift, you also push him a little. Player who holds the heart cannot attack. You can takeover the heart from your enemy by hitting him.

Controls:
Player 1 (Yelow Ghost)
Jump: arrow up
Go left: arrow left
Go right: arrow right
Hit: right shift

Player 2 (Red Ghost)
Jump: w
Go left: a
Go right: s
Hit: left shift

Particle In A Box Final Beta Version

Ok, at this point I really don't know what I may add. So Here is the final beta release (at least I hope so) of Particle In A Box. From now on I'll only creat levels. Here is the list of improvements I did since the last release:

- Certain levels only accessable at certain ranks.
- Background and menu textures.
- Credits.
- Updated How To Play.

Delete any save games from options menu if you played Particle In A Box before. Just like before any kind of feedback will be appriciated.

Update: Please note that this is an old version of the game and I have made few major changes in the final version. It will be released soon for Android.

Particle In A Box Beta

And here comes the first beta release of Particle In A Box. I improved many things in this version. Most important thing is that in this version you can save your statistics. There is also a decent menu now. Gameplay didn't change except now you can pause your game. Since I was focused on technical issues rather than content, I only made two new levels. So go ahead and try it!

Particle In A Box Alpha

This is a pc alpha version of game wich will be released for Android. The purpose is to collect all collectables in a level and reach the finish line. Controls are quite simple, just press "a" button to gain altitude, "s" to speed up and "esc" to quit.

Stairway to Earth

Stairway to Earth

This is my first working and fun to play game. Although it is not complete (I did it on a game jam in 48 hours, this the best I could do back than), it is playable. I used python 3.2 and pygame 1.9 for this game.

Main objective in this game is to score 500 points before your oponnent does. To do that you should collect apples. First apple is 10 points, in case you get another in 5 seconds then you get 40 points, or if you get another in 10 seconds then you get 20 points. Also you could use stun clouds to slow down your oppenent. But each of this clouds is worth 5 points.

Controls:

Player 1 (Adam):

Jump / up : arrow up

Left: arrow down

Right: arrow right

Down: arrow down

Stun: right shift

Player 2 (Eve):

Jump / up: w

Left: a

Right: d

Down: s

Stun: left shift
